Asking to meet
  • Are you available on the 17th?
  • Can we meet on the 16th?
  • How does the 3rd sound to you?

Agreeing on a date
  • Yes, Tuesday is fine.

  • Tomorrow would be perfect.

Accepting an appointment
  • All right, see you there.
  • No problem. I'm free on....
  • Be there on time
  • I'll wait for you
  • It's a deal.

Canceling an appointment
  • I'm terrible, sorry I have to put off my appointment.
  • I'm sorry, I'm very busy.
  • I'm afraid I have to postpone my appointment with. . . .tomorrow morning.

Changing an appointment
  • What about.... (Tuesday at 04.00pm)
  • well, I must be off now. I'll talk to you later!

ANNOUNCEMENT


DEFINITION: Announcement is something said, written or printed to make known what has happened or ( more often) what will happen.

IN WRITING AN ANNOUNCEMENT, KEEP THE FOLLOWING POINTS:
  • The title/ type of event
  • Date/time, Place, and
  • contact person

WE CAN FIND THE ANNOUNCEMENT ON:

  • Radio
  • Newspaper
  • Billboard
